More often than not, parents overlook head lice for several weeks, if not months, this time of year because of dry skin. Dry, winter skin is never comfortable and is especially itchy when combined with eczema and psoriasis. If you notice your child scratching, take a peek for head lice. Look for dark eggs near the scalp, tiny bites on the scalp and lice debris which appears as fine black specks on the scalp and pillow case. If it's too difficult to determine at home, come see us! We will provide a thorough head lice exam and get you an answer fast! 402-504-0550
